03 — Why Halcyon

How we approach the work differently.

Scoped to what is needed

Engagements are sized to the specific initiative — not stretched into open-ended arrangements. You understand the scope before work begins.

Plain, direct communication

We write for the people who will read the material — not for the consultants who produced it. Plain language, clear structure, no filler.

Stakeholder-first thinking

Change lands differently depending on where you sit in an organisation. We factor that into every assessment, plan and coaching session.

Fixed timelines, clear output

Each engagement has a defined end point and a written deliverable. You know what you will receive and when, before we start.

Discreet by default

Sensitive organisational matters stay within the engagement. We do not reference client work in external settings without explicit permission.

Singapore context, always

We work exclusively in Singapore and understand the local norms around organisational hierarchy, communication style and change tolerance.

04 — Start Here

Is your next change initiative as prepared as it needs to be?

A short conversation is usually enough to determine whether one of our services is the right fit. There is no obligation, and we will be direct about what we can and cannot help with.

05 — Common Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What kinds of organisations do you typically work with?
We work with mid-to-large organisations in Singapore — typically those with 200 or more employees undergoing a defined change such as a technology deployment, structural reorganisation or office relocation. Our services are designed for a single change initiative scoped at department or business-unit level, rather than enterprise-wide transformation programmes.
Do I need all three services, or can I engage one on its own?
Each service stands alone. A Readiness Assessment does not require a Communications Plan to follow, and sponsor coaching can begin at any point in a change effort. Some clients use two services for the same initiative; others engage just one. We will tell you plainly if we think you need something you have not asked for.
How do engagements typically begin?
A short introductory conversation — usually 30 minutes — is sufficient to understand your situation and determine whether one of our services fits. If it does, we will outline the scope in writing before any work begins. We do not issue proposals that run to dozens of pages; a clear one-page outline is usually sufficient.
Are your fees fixed or do they vary by organisation size?
The fees listed — S$650 for a Readiness Assessment, S$210 for a Communications Plan, and S$430 per month for Sponsor Coaching — apply to engagements within the stated scope. If your situation requires a broader scope, we will discuss that before work begins and agree a revised fee. We do not adjust pricing based on organisation size alone.
How is the Sponsor Coaching arranged — in person or remotely?
Sponsor Coaching sessions can be held in person at our Raffles Place office or remotely by video call, depending on what works best for the senior leader involved. Many clients alternate between the two. The format does not affect the fee or the nature of the conversations.
What happens if our change initiative is delayed or cancelled mid-engagement?
For fixed-term engagements such as the Readiness Assessment or Communications Plan, work and fees are scoped to the agreed period. For Sponsor Coaching, the monthly arrangement can be paused with reasonable notice. We understand that organisational priorities shift — we will discuss the practical implications honestly when that happens.
How do you handle confidential information about our organisation?
We treat all client information as confidential by default. A mutual confidentiality undertaking is included in every engagement. We do not discuss or reference client matters in external settings, and deliverables are shared only with the individuals you designate. If you have specific data handling requirements, we are happy to accommodate them.
